St Patty's Pancakes

Pancakes are no stranger in our house, BUT green shamrock pancakes? Happy St Patrick's Day to us! We had all the girls ready in green early enough to enjoy breakfast (and pictures).

Paige's shirt is pink w/ GREEN stripes. We couldn't find any cute just green shirts & we happened to have a super cute bow that matched!

We had green scrambled eggs & green milk too, but didn't stop to take pictures. I'd reached my weekly/monthly allotted photos..hehe

We had green tortilla roll ups for lunch with green grapes. For dinner, we something else that was green (can't remember it was so memorable) AND mint ice cream for dessert.

Another year.....

I thought a lunch date would be more fun for my birthday this year. Easier for everybody involved too. Mark could get away for at least an hour & my sis in-law offered to watch my girls as gift to me! So off to lunch we went. It was a cold day with new snow =(     SO READY FOR SPRING!!!!
I had the best cheeseburger ever! It was amazingly delicious. Mark surprised me by telling me we were going to the movies too. He'd taken the rest of the day off (a gift in itself because he's been working like crazy). There wasn't really any good movies playing that early in the day, so I asked if I could go home for an uninterrupted birthday nap. It was heavenly!

Yep.. that is my birthday cake. No candles or singing.... we just started devouring it!

Mark had my friend Shannon make me a homemade (from scratch) German Chocolate cake that was FABULOUS!

Love my Sweetie- Thanks for a fun day!

Baby Skye

Meet our newest niece/cousin Skye. She's so sweet! and SOOO TINY!

She was born back on January 13th & I was fortunate enough to be at the hospital my brother Nick & his wife Renee when she was born. Here are some pics of the happy new parents-

The next night Mark & I got to go back to the hospital without our kiddos to see baby Skye again.

My Mom came to visit & meet her newest granddaughter. It was fun to see her, but this time we had to share since she always stays with us. The older girls had a hard time understanding why Grama wasn't staying at our house. We did get to on several fun shopping trips with her though.... the visit wouldn't be complete without a trip to Target for popcorn & lemonade while we shopped =)

My girls had been passing colds back & forth, so we did a quick photo shoot with all the girls cousins (minus Kaylee in Louisiana) before Grama headed back to Cali.

When it's too quiet.......

SO BUSTED!

These pictures do NOT do the moment justice! The day after Paige's birthday, when all was quiet & Reese was all alone in the kitchen, she pushed the chair up to the counter & decided to help herself (who could blame her!). I asked what she was doing & she held out her frosted hands. The cupcakes were totally mangled, but thoroughly enjoyed!

Gymnastics Recital

Here's our little gymnists! Unfortunately they don't have the most "flattering" outfits to wear. They have loved being in gymnastics this year. They started in Sept, so you can imagine that a Dec recital had a minimal routine to present. Paige & Claire hammed it up in true fashion. They'll have another recital again in April... I'll try to post video of the actual performance when there' more to see =)

Paige turned 6!

I'm a few months behind in my blogging efforts (6 if you're keeping in track), but here goes my attempt to slowly catch up. Nothing new to keep me away from blogging. No sooner had I started this post when my almost 4 year old decided she was afraid of ants & wouldn't go to the bathroom. She waited too long as it was & went on the floor =/ Then between her & I yelling/ crying, etc. we managed to wake up a sleeping soon to be 2 year old. The joys of my day!
Back to Paige (who is off at kindergarten)- she turned 6 a few months back. Here's a few pictures from her big day! Can't believe she's already six.... seriously the time is going by sooooo fast! We just had a little family party for her. Earlier in the day we took family pictures. It had snowed the night before & was freezing! The wind was soooo cold. She requested McDonalds for lunch (we gave her better options), BUT she requested we ALL needed to eat inside so they could play. The older girls had a gymnastics recital that night too (pics to follow this)  and it snowed some more that night on our way back home. Gotta love driving in the wind blown snow with your entire family in the car......
Paige is awesome & being so self sufficient. Love her to pieces!
