Happy Mother's Day!

I am so blessed to be a MOM! Today was a GREAT day... I have the sweetest husband! Mark is the best & he always knows how to make important days seem more special. These are flowers he brought home for me last night... the picture doesn't do them justice. They are so beautiful! Mark made & cleaned up breakfast, took care of the girls so I could nap & then after church made the best steak! The girls bought a gift card to Glen Ivy & I can't wait to spend it. I've been wanting a new beach bag for the spa or beach or whatever, so Mark bought a gift card to Kohl's so I could pick one out. What a SWEETIE! I love my girls & I'm so thankful to be their Mom. It is hard and not always rewarding, but there are those moments that make it SOOO worth it. I love and appreciate my mom so much (and even more so now that I have kids of my own). She continues to impress me & is such a fantastic Grandma. Thanks Mom for being the best- I love you! I'm grateful to Mark's Mom too- she is obviously amazing to have raised Mark. I love you Carey- thanks for being a mother in-law that is fun to be with and easy to get along with. Thanks for being a wonderful Grammy to our girls! I'm so blessed to have such good role models to look to for guidance in raising my girls. Thank you! 

Crazy Claire

Last night I was working on the laundry and the girls were playing in their room. I was back and forth between my room, the laundry room & the girls room. I peeked in to check on them... but they were nowhere to be found! Paige had gone into the bathroom & Claire was....... in the corner of the closet in the bin full of books! She opened the closet, made her way past the clothes hamper & into the bin. She was looking at books & smiled when she got caught. She REALLY wants to be like her big sister. I can't believe she will be 1 year old at the end of May. Time flies!

Paige no longer wears pull ups to bed at night- HURRAY!!!! She stayed dry all week & was pretty impressed with herself. We took her to the disney store with Grama & Grampa to pick out a treat. Everything was 50% because the store was closing! Bad day or good day to go depending on how you look at it. Paige was well behaved & so was Grama :0)

I did buy Paige a Cindrella dress... couldn't pass at half off. She loves it & would wear it all day, every day if I let her. We also had to buy Claire her very own princess phone. Paige has a hard time sharing all of HER toys. Paige got a new phone too.... again half off! That $5.50 investment has made our lives a little easier this week. They both lover their phones & the best part is they don't have to share with their sister. 

Disneyland with the Bryants!

We finally got to go to Disneyland with Mark's family! We met up with everyone (Mark's brother Dustin & his wife Brooke & Jacob- he & Claire are 2 days apart, Mark's brother Matt & girlfriend Kyra, and of course Mark's mom- the wonderful Grammy) later in the afternoon (post naps) so we could ALL have a good time. It was SOOOO hot! I'm so thankful our passes our blocked out during most of the summer. Kyra is Matt's new girlfriend. We all hope she'll be his fiance soon??? She was fun to hang out with & Paige was much impressed because she had on a green shirt (Paige's favorite color- before orange and now brown & pink have been added to the list). Claire rode the carousel with Mark & had so much fun! She waived to us until she couldn't find us. Paige loved the Parade as always (however I'm ready for a new one!). Claire loved the parade this time & was dancing with the music. Paige danced on the parade route & we had to reign her in.
