Webcams are cool!
We may be a little behind the technology, but we finally joined the world of webcams & skype. We got a webcam for my mom for mother's day & just figured out how to use it. The kids loved it! It was pretty cool & I'm excited we have another way to stay connected to friends & family that are far away.

Just for Melissa...
Thank you!
Carey went home after two weeks of a long roadtrip, late nights, endless laundry & cleaning, unpacking, a crying baby, a screaming toddler, a tired mom, etc. etc. She was such a trooper to put up with our family for two weeks. There was so much going on & she truly made the transition much easier! Gramas truly love their grandchildren unconditionally- our girls really put her to the test :0) Thanks for raising an awesome son, who is such an amazing husband. Thanks for being here when we really needed help. We love you!
Happy Mothers's Day!
I'm so thankful to be a mom, even when it's hard (which seems to be often right now)! I love my girls & am so blessed to be able to be at home with them. It's not all lollipops & sunshine every day or even most days, but there are moments that make it so worth it!
I love my Mom & am so thankful to all the things she taught me about being a mom. I love & appreciate everything you do for me & my family!
Mark's mom was with us on Mother's day & the two weeks prior. She was AMAZING & such a tremendous help while we got settled, unpacked & adjusted to our new house. I'm truly grateful to you Carey for all your hard work & late nights!
Mother's Day was a good day for me. I got to take a much needed nap! Mark bought me a clock for our house. I'm so excited about it & have wanted one like it forever. We finally have a wall big enough to put it on.

A rare moment....
Idaho or Bust!
Week one is in the books & most of the house has been unpacked. What a crazy & chaotic week it has been! We are still trying to get used to the late nights... I swear it doesn't get dark until 9:30. Kids associate dark with bedtime... so let's just say we've had to adjust bedtime to 9:30 & later. Claire is sleeping in a big girl bed & is doing better than expected. She loves baby Reese & is always wanting to kiss, hold, touch her, space invade... etc. She especially loves to get in her face while she's crying & mimic her saying "waaa waaa". Paige is a GREAT big sister & likes to hold her baby sister. Paige & Claire can occasionally get along, & when they do it gives me HOPE! It is so beautiful here.. that makes the move so much easier. The picture of the lilac bush is taken outside our window. It smells so good!

I love this picture of Mark... you can tell he's mentally prepared himself for the roadtrip :0)

We have SOOOO much stuff! The inside of the Yukon was PACKED & we had to buy a cargo carrier for the back of the Yukon too ( not to mention the 26 ft Uhaul & trailer pulled up the week before).
