Easter morning was so BEAUTIFUL! I'm so sad I didn't take any pictures outside. It was a truly gorgeous spring day. Mark's Mom came by before church to take pictures of the girls while they still looked cute. Claire doesn't like to have ponytails, barretts, etc... so she'll usally pull it out before too long. She managed to keep her bow in about half way through Sacrament meeting & then refused to let me put it back in. I'm not sure if it was the candy or not, but she was all fired up Easter morning. I'm so thankful we have the pictures we do. I did take a couple pictures of the girls with their easter baskets & still in their jammmies, but haven't uploaded them yet- I realize I'm incredibly lazy! I have lots of other things on my mind.....

A day at the beach.....
Last week it was 80+ degrees here, so I thought it'd be a good idea to go the beach
. We only made it to the beach once last summer & I doubt we'll be able to make too many trips before we have to make the trek to Idaho. My little brother Josh(& fantastic uncle) came along to hang out with his nieces & nephews. My sister Melissa & I met at the beach with our kids for a cousin love fest! They had so much fun playing in the sand. The water was pretty cold & Josh was a good sport about taking Paige for a swim. As you can see, they didn't make it very far. We were there just long enough to enjoy the sun (& even get some color), have some lunch, get covered in sand & then head home.

Happy St Patty's Day
Claire loves to "chase" lizards on my parents back wall. I had to get a picture of her ponytail! I'm so excited she finally Has enough hair :0)
St Patrick's day isn't much to celebrate, unless you absolutely LOVE the color green, it happens to be a preschool day & you are the helper. Paige was in HEAVEN & so excited about St Patricks because everyone gets to wear green! We had a lot of fun wearing new green shirts & matching barretts from my Aunt. They turned out so cute!
Blah, blah, blogging blahs....
I know its been awhile... I'm working on getting caught up & will do my best before the baby gets here (hopefully in less than a month!). First things first- the happy holidays background has been replaced. As much as I love looking at other blogs, I just haven't had the time or desire to update my own. Here is the latest.....We are scheduled to move up to Idaho the first week in May & are soooo excited! There will be so many changes in the next few months. Mark & I got to go up to Idaho last weekend to go check out houses. We were crazy busy & saw about 30 houses in 1 day! It was nice to spend time with Mark & to see Idaho for myself. We have a house we are in the process of placing an offer... everything takes longer with short sales, bank owned & forclosures. Everything seems to be a waiting game. I PROMISE to keep everyone posted when we get the official word about a house. Idaho was awesome! SO quiet & slower paced. Thanks again to Grammy for keeping our girls for us! That made things so much easier for us to see houses. I've taken pictures that need to be posted & hope to have more posts this weekend... so stay tuned & be patient!
Just can't wait
Claire is learning to be reverent during the prayer. She has been saying "amen" at the end of the prayer for awhile, but in the last few months she's started to fold her arms too. She will occasionally close her eyes and/or bow her head. We all get a good laugh when she tries to take a bite, while still maintaining folded arms. She'll reach for food, put it in her mouth & then go back to folding her arms so nobody will notice. She knew we were all watching her & my Mom had to try two different meals to get theses pictures.

More "Paige-isms"
The other day while at the mall we passed several vending machines. Paige said- " look at all the soda givers". We asked her to repeat it. "You put the money in & they give you soda- soda givers". We have since been made aware of "water givers" and "candy givers".
On the same outing, we were getting in the car. (I'm trying to get Paige to buckle herself in her booster seat & keep telling her that when my belly gets bigger I won't be able to do it for her). Paige was making a pretty weak attempt to buckle herself in. I told her she was four now, and could do it by herself. Mark was helping her pull the seat belt & all she had to do was put the buckle into the latch. She gave up and said "Ah, I'm three again. I can't do it". Apparently we've put too much pressure on her turning four.
