WE HAVE A BABY!!!

REESE REBECCA BRYANT
8 lbs. 14 oz.
21" long
9:09 a.m. , Tuesday, April 21
Kaiser Permanente Hospital, Riverside

(from Lissa -Rebecca's Mom) Rebecca gave me her password so I could post these pictures and let everyone know Reese has finally arrived. She was due April 15, but Rebecca was induced last night and had a great delivery with just 3 pushes and a lovely epidural. Reese is precious! She looks like Paige but her coloring is not as dark, so she is a nice combo of her big sisters. Resese is their biggest baby, over a pound heavier than the girls. Paige was thrilled but Claire wasn't too impressed. She wouldn't even sit up on the bed with Rebecca. At one point Mark held Claire and pointed to Reese's eyes, nose etc while I held the baby and Claire kind of tolerated that. Mark's mom (Grammy) and I (Grama) took the girls to visit after preschool today. Aunt Kyra (Matt's wife) came us and it was a fun visit in Rebecca's teeny-tiny hospital room. I'm sure Rebecca and Mark will be making phone calls and posting more pictures soon. They are very tired but very happy to have Reese here at last. They will be moving to Idaho 2 weeks from today. . .

You can see Claire pushing the baby away. . . she wasn't too impressed, while Paige was just thrilled!

This is literally how big the room is. There is acurtain to the left of Rebecca's bed to divide this dinky room in half with another mom who had a c-section yesterday. Rebecca and Mark are hoping to come home tomorrow if all continues to go well.

Moving update

We are officially moving the first week in may! Mark and his Mom are driving up with the girls on May 4th and I'm flying up on the 5th with the baby (she'll be here by then :0)...
We have a house that we are totally in ecstatic about & we're waiting on escrow to close... until it's really official I don't want to post any pics, but promise to do so once escrow has closed & papers are signed. We first found this house a year ago & have been in love with it ever since....
We are SO EXCITED about moving, despite leaving our family & friends behind. That's what blogs are for, right??? I'm incredibly thanful & indebted to my parents & little brother Josh for putting up with us for the last 8 months- it was only supposed to be 4, but then our move date was pushed back. The best part of the delay is that we get to have our baby here before we move. Everyone will get to see her & love her before we have to take off. It has been so nice to have such love & support from our family. Last week I had the stomach flu (which I thought was the start of labor....) and my parents, sweet husband & in-laws totally came to my rescue! Thank you a million times over- you are the best!!!

No baby yet......

I never posted a baby tracker on my blog, but most of you know I'm expecting on April 15th. Well, that's today & no baby yet! I had an appt yesterday & the Doctor thinks I'll go into labor in the next couple of days. I'm not holding my breath since I'm 0 for 2 in having babies on time & on my own. I'm scheduled to be induced on the 20th, so check back next week. If I don't post, I'll have my Mom or my sister add pictures of the baby.

Happy Easter

Easter morning was so BEAUTIFUL! I'm so sad I didn't take any pictures outside. It was a truly gorgeous spring day. Mark's Mom came by before church to take pictures of the girls while they still looked cute. Claire doesn't like to have ponytails, barretts, etc... so she'll usally pull it out before too long. She managed to keep her bow in about half way through Sacrament meeting & then refused to let me put it back in. I'm not sure if it was the candy or not, but she was all fired up Easter morning. I'm so thankful we have the pictures we do. I did take a couple pictures of the girls with their easter baskets & still in their jammmies, but haven't uploaded them yet- I realize I'm incredibly lazy! I have lots of other things on my mind.....
Paige trying to use her wand to cheer up a very grouchy Claire. Despite being dressed up & cute, she was being such pistol & didn't want to cooperate with taking pictures.

Paige on the other hand, was being incredibly cute & cheesy. She loved putting on her Easter dress & posing for pictures.

Claire is ACTUALLY smiling (kind of)!

The best we could do for a family picture- notice how happy Claire is?? Kudos to Grammy for taking these pictures for us ;)
I'm also thanful that Claire is on what little lap I have left so you can't see my HUGE belly!

So cute!!! The Easter Bunny brought matching wands in the girls' baskets & Paige didn't want to let hers out of her sight.

A day at the beach.....

A day at the beach.....

Last week it was 80+ degrees here, so I thought it'd be a good idea to go the beach. We only made it to the beach once last summer & I doubt we'll be able to make too many trips before we have to make the trek to Idaho. My little brother Josh(& fantastic uncle) came along to hang out with his nieces & nephews. My sister Melissa & I met at the beach with our kids for a cousin love fest! They had so much fun playing in the sand. The water was pretty cold & Josh was a good sport about taking Paige for a swim. As you can see, they didn't make it very far. We were there just long enough to enjoy the sun (& even get some color), have some lunch, get covered in sand & then head home.

Happy St Patty's Day

Claire loves to "chase" lizards on my parents back wall. I had to get a picture of her ponytail! I'm so excited she finally Has enough hair :0)

Can't wait to see what our next girl will look like- Paige & Claire are so opposite in every way possible.

Love this shot (thanks Mom). My aunt Dana sent the cutest barretts for St Patricks Day. The girls loved them!

Decked out in green from head to toe....

St Patrick's day isn't much to celebrate, unless you absolutely LOVE the color green, it happens to be a preschool day & you are the helper. Paige was in HEAVEN & so excited about St Patricks because everyone gets to wear green! We had a lot of fun wearing new green shirts & matching barretts from my Aunt. They turned out so cute!
